A Playgroup for Moms

Mothers & More isn't your typical moms' group. Yes, we have playgroups, but they're as much to give mothers the chance to play together as for the kids! Stay-at-home moms, moms in the full-time paid workforce, and moms somewhere in between–we keep you all connected.

Our chapter serves all moms in the South Snohomish, WA area--including Everett, Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Mill Creek, Bothell, Edmonds, and Mukilteo. For chapters in other areas of WA, click here.

Every month, we organize a range of activities that reflect what we need in our lives: interesting speakers, craft and coffee nights to get together and chat, and, of course, lots and lots of playtime--for us and the kids!

So, whether you've recently found your life changed by the addition of a new baby (or anticipating it soon), are going stir crazy at home, have just moved to the area, or are simply looking to expand your circle, learn more about us, our events or shoot us an e-mail with any questions you might have. We know how it is. We are mothers.

Upcoming Events-Visitors Welcome

Join us at one of our monthly meetings for an evening of fun and grown-up conversation. We usually meet on the 2nd Wednesday at 7:30 pm at the Merrill Gardens in Mill Creek. Our gatherings offer topical discussions, guest speakers, and the chance to laugh and make new friends.

Details • The holidays can be stressful. Come take a break and enjoy some tasty holiday treats, and great conversation. Bring in your favorite holiday treat to share, and a few copies of the recipe to trade. Hope to see you there!

Guests are especially welcome. Register on our Events Calendar so we'll know to expect you. All members are welcome to attend our monthly board meeting, held immediately before the chapter meeting at 7:00 p.m.

Our mission

Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers' needs as individuals and members of society, and promote the value of all the work mothers do.

Our mission is based on the following core beliefs

A mother is more than any single role she plays at any given point in her lifetime. She is entitled to fully explore and develop her identity as she chooses: as a woman, a citizen, a parent or an employee.
All the work mothers do — whether paid or unpaid - has social and economic value.
All women deserve recognition and support for their right to choose if and how to combine parenting and paid employment.
All mothers, all children and all families are unique. We respect the wisdom of each mother to decide how to care for her children, her family and herself.
Mothers have the right to fulfill their caregiving responsibilities without incurring social and economic penalties.
The transitions women make into and through motherhood are challenging and can be difficult.
Together, mothers are powerful.
